JIM SCHAEFER NAMED AS PARTNER AT DREW & WARD

Email - Mr. Schaefer

The Drew & Ward law firm is proud to announce that attorney Jim Schaefer has been made a partner in the firm.

Mr. Schaefer practices at Drew & Ward primarily in residential and commercial real estate, as well as corporate and small business representation and civil litigation.

"Mr. Schaefer has shown himself to be a valuable asset," managing partner Anthony Covatta said. "With his specialized knowledge in the field, he provides outstanding service to clients and is committed to significant responsibilities in the legal community."

This year, he was appointed to serve as a Registered Land Examiner for Hamilton County - one of only 11 professionals to serve in that capacity.

In addition, Mr. Schaefer is among the small group of Ohio attorneys to be certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a specialist in residential real estate law.

He is a graduate of Ohio State University (B.A., 1989) and Capital University (J.D., 1992), and was admitted to the bar in Ohio in 1992.

Drew & Ward Co., LPA this year celebrates its 48th anniversary, enjoying a history of nearly five decades of service: service to clients, service to the law, and service to the community. Ray Drew and Dick Ward opened their office in the Central Trust Tower (now the Fourth & Vine Tower) in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1958. Both were pilots during World War II and returned to pursue legal careers after admiring attorneys in their own families. The two founded the firm based on the ideals of serving clients with good counsel, cost effective solutions and hard work.
