The prestigious, annual list of the top lawyers in Ohio again includes four partners with the Drew & Ward law firm.
G. Raymond Drew, Frederic Goeddel, Ruth Rounding (no longer with the firm 7/14/06) and Richard Ruebel are named among the “2006 Super Lawyers” published by Cincinnati Magazine and Ohio Super Lawyers magazine.
The rankings are listed in the January 2006 issues of the magazines. The “Super Lawyers” were selected following a survey of more than 35,000 Ohio lawyers asked to vote for the best lawyers they have observed in action – and not by reputation alone. Only five percent of the lawyers in Ohio are named Super Lawyers. The entire list can be viewed on-line at www.SuperLawyers.com.
“To be recognized for an honor of this caliber is indicative of Drew & Ward’s commitment to our clients and the law,” Mr. Ruebel said. “We value the esteem of our colleagues and the community.”
In addition, Ms. Rounding is listed among the “Top 100 Ohio Super Lawyers” and Mr. Ruebel and Ms. Rounding are listed among the “Top 50 Cincinnati Super Lawyers” for 2006.
Mr. Drew practices primarily in estate planning and probate. Ms. Rounding and Mr. Ruebel, both fellows of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, specialize in estate planning and also practice in probate and taxation. Mr. Goeddel's particular area of concentration is family law, but he also practices in civil litigation, estate planning and probate.
All four of the partners have been named as Super Lawyers for the past three years.
Drew & Ward Co., LPA this year celebrates its 48th anniversary, enjoying a history of nearly five decades of service: service to clients, service to the law, and service to the community. Ray Drew and Dick Ward opened their office in the Central Trust Tower (now the Fourth & Vine Tower) in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1958. Both were pilots during World War II and returned to pursue legal careers after admiring attorneys in their own families. The two founded the firm based on the ideals of serving clients with good counsel, cost effective solutions and hard work.
