TWO DREW & WARD ATTORNEYS REPEAT HONORS AS "RISING STARS - SUPER LAWYERS" OF OHIO

For a second consecutive year, two attorneys of the Drew & Ward law firm have been named to a distinctive list of "Rising Stars," who are among the top, young lawyers in Ohio.

Bob Smyth and Sybil Mullin are named among the "2006 Super Lawyers - Rising Stars" published in July by Cincinnati Magazine and Ohio Super Lawyers magazine, honoring lawyers who have been practicing for less than 10 years or who are under the age of 40.

The "Rising Stars" list was a new distinction developed last year to recognize younger lawyers in the state. Less than 3 percent of Ohio attorneys comprise the list.

"This list highlights our two colleagues as outstanding emerging attorneys, and we are proud that their peers share our belief in their superior, professional potential," partner Anthony Covatta said.

Mr. Smyth, a partner in the firm, practices in employment law, commercial litigation, and corporate and business representation. Ms. Mullin, an associate with the firm, practices in estate and trust administration, estate planning, real estate and juvenile law.

The two magazines also annually publish a list of "Super Lawyers," or top lawyers recognized by their peers for their exemplary work in the legal field. Earlier in 2006, four of Drew & Ward's partners were named to that list. Both of the lists can be viewed on-line at www.SuperLawyers.com.

This year Drew & Ward Co., LPA celebrates its 48th anniversary, enjoying a history of nearly five decades of service: service to clients, service to the law, and service to the community. Ray Drew and Dick Ward opened their office in the Central Trust Tower (now the Fourth & Vine Tower) in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1958. Both were pilots during World War II and returned to pursue legal careers after admiring attorneys in their own families.
