"We welcome these three fine attorneys who are dedicated to bringing their clients valuable knowledge and legal proficiency," partner Anthony Covatta said.

A Cincinnati native, Mr. Sulau practices at Drew & Ward in commercial and residential real estate, business planning, general corporate law, probate and estate planning. He is a graduate of Denison University (B.A., 1972), Xavier University (M.A., 1977) and Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan (J.D., 1981). He was admitted to the bar in Ohio in 1981.

Mr. Ward practices at Drew & Ward in civil litigation, residential and commercial real estate, as well as family law, estate planning, probate, corporate, and personal injury law.

He is a graduate of Denison University (B.A., 1978) and the University of Cincinnati (J.D., 1986). Mr. Ward was admitted to the bar in Ohio in 1986, and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio in 1987.

In 1996, Mr. Ward represented an illegitimate child in a landmark case, ultimately decided by the Ohio Supreme Court, which ruled that such children have rights under the Ohio Parentage Act in wrongful death cases even when paternity has not been established prior to death. The high court also ruled on constitutional "equal protection" grounds. Prior cases had incorrectly relied on inheritance laws to bar such claims.

Ray Drew and Dick Ward opened their office in the Central Trust Tower (now the Fourth & Vine Tower) in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1958. Both were pilots during World War II and returned to pursue legal careers after admiring attorneys in their own families.
