Real estate transactions are very large financial commitments, and the work I do impacts clients economically and emotionally, Mr. Schaefer says. Mr. Schaefer practices at The Drew Law Firm primarily in residential and commercial real estate, as well as corporate and small business representation, and civil litigation.
He is a graduate of Ohio State University (B.A., 1989) and Capital University (J.D., 1992). He was admitted to the bar in Ohio in 1992 and Colorado in 1993 (inactive status). He is fluent in Spanish. Mr. Schaefer is a member of the Cincinnati and Ohio State bar associations, as well as the Southwest Ohio Land Title Association. He also is an OSBA Board Certified Real Estate Specialist, one of a small group of attorneys in Ohio to have earned this distinction. In 2006, Mr. Schaefer was appointed as a Registered Land Examiner for Hamilton County. He is a licensed title insurance agent.
A Zanesville, Ohio native, he moved to Cincinnati in 1997. Mr. Schaefer also enjoys teaching first-time homebuyers about making good decisions and was honored to recently receive the Presenter of the Year award from the Home Ownership Center of Cincinnati.
In serving clients, I work to understand their situations and objectives, and help them consider the benefits to be obtained versus the costs to be considered along the way, he says. This way I can guide them to the best possible result.
