Helping people through life and legal issues is all in a day's work for associate Sybil Mullin.

I have a genuine interest in helping clients work through difficult situations that they might not otherwise be equipped to handle on their own, she states.

Ms. Mullin practices at The Drew Law Firm in the areas of estate and trust administration, estate planning, real estate and business formation. She is a member of the Cincinnati, Kentucky, Ohio State and American Bar Associations. She also is fluent in Spanish.

In the case of estate administration and planning and real estate, I enjoy making clients aware of the logistics and laws about which they might have limited knowledge, she says.

Ms. Mullin is a graduate of Denison University (B.A., cum laude, 1987) and Salmon P. Chase College of Law of Northern Kentucky University (J.D., 1995). She was admitted to the bar in Ohio in 1995 and Kentucky in 1996. Although born in Saratoga Springs, NY, she has lived in Cincinnati since 1976. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their young twin sons. In 2005 and 2006, Ms. Mullin was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star, honoring lawyers who have been practicing for less than 10 years or who are under the age of 40.

Careful listening is the basis of a good relationship with a client, she explains.

I am conscientious about developing a solid relationship with a client and hearing their real concerns. Listening to them without interruption allows me to discern what they really want to achieve. And sometimes, clients may learn what they want to accomplish in hearing themselves talk it through.
